I have spent the past 12 years coaching and instructing in baseball. I graduated and played baseball at Mt. Carmel High School, primarily as a 3rd baseman. I moved on to college where my focus was geared towards pitching. I played for the Robert Morris Eagles from 2008-2012 under Mike Kashirsky, winning back-to-back CCAC Conference Championships. My heart and passion are directly focused on pitching/development. After suffering a torn UCL in my throwing arm, followed by a career ending rotator cuff tear, I knew that I wouldn’t play at a higher level again. Physical therapy was a long road back. During a 12–16-month process, I had to learn to throw again, using efficient and proper mechanics. I learned ways to build, maintain leg and arm strength. Most importantly, I learned to listen to my body. I decided to put together all the information that I had and tested myself and got involved with providing pitching + arm care instruction to young ballplayers. My first coaching opportunity was with The Lou Collier Stars, and briefly with the JM Prospects. I coached for 5 Years alongside former major league player Lou Collier. I work with many different young players throughout Chicagoland area, not only pitchers but position players as well. I am currently taking time to work with pitching development at Leo High School. I am proud to have played a role in the Leo Lions turning around a 0-17 record in the 2021-2022 season. Through hard work and culture change of the pitching staff, Leo H.S. ended with a 12-16 record for the 2022-2023 Season.
